We all know that the playstation has gone through 3 different looks before they desided to keep their new look, the PS3. Nintendo changes their minds like a girl changes her outfit, and we've had countless Nintendo consoles, all of which sucked (see AVGN videos). The Xbox, however, only remade themselves once before they though that the Xbox 360 is their permenant console... or did they?

If you search "Xbox 720" on google, you will find pictures and rumors of a new microsoft entertainment console. It consists of a ball with glass armor revealing the inside machinary, and a green X on the front, referencing the logo. When pushing the symbol, it pops out allowing you to slip a disc inside. The console looks a lot like the monitors from Halo. But is this new design really necessary?

The Xbox 360 is awesome enough as it is. They don't need a new console. Playstation went through 3 designs to make up their mind. Xbox didn't need to. They only made on redesign and stayed with it, because they are awesome. Making this new console will prove that they are no better than playstation, which they are!! And keep in mind that it's called an X-BOX, meaning the console should resemble a box, not a ball. However, I've been hearing that the 720 will include virtual reality helmets for simulated games. I welcome this, but are we really ready for that?
